Earlier in the year, the Village Rejuvenation Team (now renamed Spondon Village Partnership) carried out an online survey to gather local opinion on the current usage of the village centre and what improvements people would like to see in the future.
The full report on the findings from the survey has now been completed and can be downloaded via the link below.
The survey received a magnificent response, with well over 450 people expressing their views.
The results found that the main reasons for visiting the village centre include food shopping, visiting the Post office, Healthcare and take away/fast food purchases whilst parking and traffic levels were the two main factors which discouraged people from visiting.
The initial findings were collated and presented at the Neighbourhood Forum meeting on 1st July. These are also available to download below.
