The Spondon Councillors still have a limited store of around 100 bags of rock salt available for free.
Should you wish to claim any bags then please contact one of your councillors to arrange for collection.
The aim of this scheme is to help local residents, especially the vulnerable and elderly residents, remain safe and mobile during the icy and winter weather.
If you can help spread some rock salt on the steps leading to a group of bungalows or make a slippery footpath safe or make it easier for people to use pushchairs or wheelchairs near to where you live then please get in touch.
This is an opportunity for you to help keep your local community safe and mobile in the ice and snow.
