Spondon Neighbourhood Board is pleased to announce that the joint winners of the 2012/13 award are Spondon Cricket Club Under 11’s Hardball Team and the West Park School Year 11 Boys Basketball Team 2012.
The award aims to promote the achievements and successes of young people in Spondon who have taken up the opportunity to succeed in their chosen sport or pastime.
Both the winning teams impressed the Board. Spondon Cricket Club U11 hardball teams was undefeated and supported other teams in their successes West Park Basketball team impressed by finishing 3rd in the National Schools Championships and their willingness to return to school to help coach the lower age groups.
