Spondon Neighbourhood Board has agreed to allocate some of its Streetpride Devolved Budget funding to continue the improvements started around Spondon Village Hall.
More funding has been allocated to provide two new planters, plants for the planters which will be kindly looked after by Jennifer Slatcher, new plants for the area beside the old Derbyshire Building and a replacement tree behind the Village Hall.
This is on top of the funding from section 106 funds which the Board prioritised which have produced a lovely new destination and accessible area behind the Village Hall.
