A host of local Spondon businesses have donated prizes to a charity raffle to raise money for the Sight Support Derbyshire organisation.
Spondon local Neil Bennett is organising the raffle to raise money for the charity which provides services, support and advice and information to those suffering form sight loss in Derbyshire.
Neil has previous organised various other fundraising events around the village in aid of Sight Support Derbyshire and other charities, including the Spondon CC vs Derby County Legends cricket match held last summer.
Prizes up for grabs from local Spondon businesses include include vouchers for shops such as Romac Motor factors, The Meatloaf, Lewis's Interiors, the Flower Garden, Burlington Travel, Mark Davis Optician and Spondon Carpets. There are also beer tokens up for grabs form the Vernon Arms and Prince of Wales, a sweet hamper from Little Treats, Sunday lunch for two at Bluebells and much more.
Other prizes include a meal and match tickets for Derby County, £200 worth of brand-name shopping vouchers, £100 worth of Westfield vouchers and more. Click here to download the poster for full details.
Tickets for the raffle are just £1 each and are available from D label, Little Treats, Vernon Arms, Prince of Wales and Romac Motor factors. The prize draw will take place at the Prince of Wales at 8pm on 21st April 2012.
