Walkabout street briefings have now been conducted by Councillors, Neighbourhoods Officers, Parking Enforcement Officers and the Police Safer Neighbourhood team, around West Park and all our primary schools.
During the briefing, we spoke to residents, parents, staff and children about safety and poor parking issues which have been identified around all the schools.
Highlighting the issues for all involved has been useful but the board are looking at practical ways to reduce the problem in the new year.
