A new survey has been launched to capture feedback from the community on your views of parks in Spondon.
The survey has been created by the Friends of Spondon Parks, a community group that work voluntarily to maintain and improve the park areas of Spondon beyond just the standard maintenance done by Derby City Council. The group also fundraise to pay for additional improvements to the park and organise various cleanups and other activities in the parks.
Since the group's last survey, they have collected over 100 bags of rubbish from our local parks during the regular Action Hours and have launched our fundraising campaign for a new play area on South Avenue Park. The group also organised the Park Fit event over the summer, which provided free weekly fitness classes for anyone to attend across Spondon's different park locations.
The results of the survey influence the group's activities and priorities for the coming year so please take five minutes to share your opinions on Spondon's parks to show what you like about them and what you feel needs work.
You can complete the survey here and find out more about the Friends of Spondon Parks group in general at their website.
